How it all began: From classroom ideas to the real world
T-CREATION started back in 2013, founded by a university design lecturer who had spent years exploring how traditional craftsmanship and modern design could come together. She noticed something missing: students and artisans often had beautiful work but no platform to showcase it, no bridge to connect them with the wider world.

That’s when T-CREATION was born—not just as a brand, but as a space where creative voices could be seen, heard, and respected. What started as classroom experiments and rural field studies has grown into an independent platform that links traditional craft, contemporary design, and young creators. The mission has always been simple: bring beauty out of the classroom and into everyday life.

What we do best: Designing to revive traditions
T-CREATION focuses on four main areas:

• Ceramics – Carrying on the legacy of Jingdezhen craftsmanship, blending the elegance of blue-and-white porcelain with the earthy warmth of wood-fired techniques, creating works full of Eastern spirit.

• Jewelry – Using ceramics, crystal, and silver as our main materials, we craft pieces with soft textures and unique structures, wearable art with cultural depth.

• Textiles – From grass weaving to crochet, we work with natural cotton and linen, hand-dyed threads, and traditional techniques to create bags and accessories with a modern twist.

• Painting – Exploring culture and storytelling through ink, oil, acrylic, and mixed media, giving traditional narratives fresh visual expression.

Each piece is created in small batches, with an emphasis on craftsmanship and individuality—designs that carry warmth and a personal touch.

More than a brand: A community of creativity
T-CREATION is also a creative community. We host “Heritage + Design” workshops, hands-on craft classes, and exhibitions, inviting students, designers, artisans, and handmade enthusiasts to join in.

For many young people, this is where they complete their first-ever creation. For local artisans, it’s a chance to reintroduce their skills to the modern market. We believe design is not just about making objects—it’s about reconnecting people with culture and with each other.

Our vision: Bringing design education into real cultural spaces
Looking ahead, T-CREATION is focusing on three big goals:

• Youth incubation – Helping student creations find their way into the market.

• Local collaboration – Partnering with rural artisans and cultural heritage inheritors for co-branded projects.

• Global storytelling – Using digital platforms and documentary films to share the contemporary voice of Chinese craftsmanship with the world.
